A large, flat field that is half surrounded by an embankment. A line of low trees borders the field on top of the embankment on the east side, restrooms and parking lot to the south, and a playground to the east. Note that it's in the air traffic path from RDU, but restriction is 400' AGL, so no real impact.

Best times to go are weekdays during the day or mornings on weekends. Playground is occasionally free of kids, especially on school days, so it can be useful for whoops.

Be aware: occasionally, people will bring their dogs and turn them off leash (which is against city ordinance in Cary). Additionally, there is a small retention pond in the northwest corner of the park, near the foot path.
