Le plateau des lacs (2050m) nous permet d'admirer le Lac Fourchu - Le Lac Agneau - Le Lac de la Vache - Le Lac Noir etc...De ce plateau on a une superbe vue sur le glacier du Dome de la Lauze aux 2 Alpes (3650m) et les 3 Aiguilles d'Arves (3514m)Le Lac Canard abrite une tourbière remarquable qui contient dans ses profondeurs des troncs d'arbres parfaitement conservés, car à l'abri de toute oxydation. Ce sont les ultimes vestiges des forêts primitives.
