Jaillissant d’une caverne large de 60 m et haute de 30 m creusée dans une paroi surplombante de plus de 100 de hauteur, la source de la Loue n’est autre qu’une majestueuse résurgence du Doubs. Magie et grandeur règnent sur cette « reculée » (cirque clos). C’est l’un des sites naturels majeurs du Doubs.
